Ok guys, I have things share about my trip! This process has been such a rapid turn around that I haven’t had a chance until now to lay out in greater detail the what’s, where’s, and when’s. Thank you for your support in this fast paced journey with the Lord. You guys have been an amazing community for me, and a major blessing in helping me follow God’s calling in this season. So, without further to-do here’s what’s up:

(What) I am alumni squad leading for a group of 29 people known as KSquad. They are a new generation of World Racers, going to 11 months in 11 countries. I will be with them for their first 5 months before letting them loose on the world, walking in ownership of their own mission trip.

(Where) Here are the countries that I personally am scheduled to go to while I am with KSquad. We will be in each country for the length of one month:

1)Guatemala

2)Honduras

3)Costa Rica

4) Nicaragua

5) Columbia

(When) Here is the immediate schedule of events:

  • August 1: I arrived in Gainesville, GA, for leadership training. I will be bonding with my team, preparing for my squad’s arrival in on the 6th, and training for my role as squad leader.
  • August 6: Travel to Atlanta to meet KSquad (as well as other squads launching in this time window). We will stay the night in Atlanta and have parents spend time with the squad before saying “goodbye” the next day.
  • August 7: We will be back at the AIM base in Gainesville for more training as a squad! We will stay here as we prepare to launch. We will take covid tests and quarantine together before our flight.
  • August 12: WE FLY TO GUATEMALA!!!!

Please be praying for everyone’s health and safety traveling. Covid has made mission work more challenging, but God is greater and can use all circumstances for His glory! Praying that every member of KSquad is anointed and blessed with good health, empowered spirits, and a readiness for sharing the gospel in every opportunity that presents itself in this season.

Thank you guys again for your support and encouragement during this transition onto the field. I am forever grateful for the love, generosity, and passion people have shared with me during this process. You guys are incredible!

If anyone is wanting to support me, I still need to raise funds while I travel. I am selling shirts at https://www.bonfire.com/est-kingdom/ or you can directly donate using the “Donate” button at the top of my blog site. Even if you can’t or don’t feel led to give, please say a quick prayer over my trip and funds. Thank you!

Praying that your journey with Ksquad is blessed with good health and safety. Hopefully your time in Guatemala will include time with some familiar J church faces!

  2. Can’t wait to serve with you, Abby. You will bring so much peace and wisdom to K squad. Thanks for saying yes to God!
