Hey guys! This week my team came together to write letters to the supporters of someone on our team. The idea is that you can hear from someone else about the impact your support and donations towards my World Race have been making around the world and in my own personal life. Here are some words from my amazing teammate, Ashley.

A Letter to Abby’s Supporters:

Abby has been an incredible teammate these past four months and I’ve absolutely loved sharing my time on the Race with her! In the Dominican Republic, I got to know Abby’s sweet heart, hear her wisdom, and experience her goofiness. In Haiti, I witnessed the way that Abby genuinely makes connections with people – whether it’s through a spontaneous game of basketball or a card game with the locals. She never fails to see people and go out of her way to spend time with them. In South Africa, I admired her gentle firmness as a middle school camp counselor and learned so much from her patience. And now, here we are in Botswana, and once again, she is blowing me away. Through the kind hugs, smiles, and laughs she shares with the children in the orphanage we’re living next to, I can clearly see Christ in her. Abby is making such a lasting impact on not only myself and the team, but in God’s Kingdom.

Some of my favorite moments with her on the Race have been dancing while digging steps into a dirt path at Hope Mountain, laughing so hard my stomach hurt when we did face masks together at debrief, sharing one-on-one with each other what the Lord has been telling us, and being attacked together by eager children during recess at Ithemba School. Abby is just a joy to be around and spreads the love of Jesus wherever she goes. Thank you for investing in her and her mission and for enabling her to be here on the World Race!
