Hey friends!

As I have been getting ready to leave for my trip, I have been reflecting on my journey so far. It’s been a crazy year of emotional roller coasters and growth in intimacy with the Lord. On my way up to visit some of my family members this weekend I was jamming to some Disney tunes (like the cool adult I am), when I realized that some of my favorite Disney songs applied to stages of my journey with the World Race. In all of my nerd glory, I got excited and wanted to share with you the humorous list of songs as I do a recap on what the last year has been like for me. This is purely just a fun blog post so I hope you enjoy it and laugh as much as I did about it. (Side note: I’m a bit cheesy so prepare for it)

Pre-World Race Me: “When Will My Life Begin” – A young, naive me not knowing what God had in store.

Visiting family and saying my good-byes: “You’ll Be In My Heart” – The hardest part for me so far is the good-byes. I have a lot of people that I love, but I know that they will be with me as I go.

(That one was a tab bit sad. Sorry about that.)

Lastly, what it will be like to finally go: “A Whole New World”- So beyond excited to explore and learn all that God has for me this year. It’s going to me a “Whole New World” and a whole new me by the end of this mission trip.
